Okay, folks, it’s time to drink a beer. For science!
Somewhere over the last ~5 years, I seem to have acquired a barley allergy. Just a sip of some beers has made me itchy and sick to my stomach.
So far, Japanese beers (often made with rice in place of barley) and Mexican ones (corn) are okay. Domestics are tricky, because they rarely disclose recipes. Just going to have to figure it out one taster at a time. With a Benadryl in my pocket.
