It's not the "opposing politicians" part that's the issue, it's the fact that he wants to arrest them simply because they were looking into his administration's illegal activities.

We wouldn't be in this mess if Democrats had actually been willing to hold Republicans legally accountable for their criminal behavior instead of worrying about whether or not it would look partisan. At the absolute very least, the Republicans who were deeply involved in the 1/7 insurrection should have been arrested, "opposition politicians" or not.
