The 15 year old me in 1999 would struggle to believe how mundane it's become, having the internet in our pockets.

The first semi-smart phones where I was able to visit websites (very slowly, mind) and converse on IRC and a few other things were pretty magical.

I was suspicious of the first all-touch screens and I was right to be, the first ones were resistive, not capacitive, and you really needed a stylus to use them - like the almost forgotten PDAs (those were so cool to me too at the time).
