I'm currently reading "Strange Rites: new religions for a godless world"
Its arugably psychology as it takes a look at practices and gatherings which effectively act as a replacement for "tradtional" religious gatherings. I'm only about a quarter the way through the book and one of the biggest examples it sites that I can resonate with is rave culture.
For sci fi the last Series I read is called the Heechee Saga, by Frederik Pohl, Its an older series but Pohl wrote one of my favorite series called Venus, inc. (Two books that were published together called The Space Merchants and the Merchants War individually.) So I wanted to check out his other work.
