I’ve been in the photography world for a long time now, and I’ve been running noicemag (npub1v02…mwuj) since 2015. It’s become a fairly low-key, but recognizable name in the photo space. One thing I’ve consistently noticed though is that most photographers still don’t really understand #Bitcoin.

As I rebuild the NOICE website, I’ve quietly integrated a bit of Bitcoin education into it (bottom footer section). It’s not loud or preachy - it’s subtle. It lives in the same place NOICE has always lived: curiosity. There’s a small page that gently walks the viewer through what fiat money is, how we arrived here, and why Bitcoin exists as a solution.

I think it fits well.

To my knowledge, NOICE is the first photography publication to meaningfully integrate Bitcoin into its foundation. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and it feels good to finally bring those worlds together.

The site is still in progress, so that explains the vercel domain. I hope to have everything transfered over soon.
