judged, excluded, ridiculed, dismissed as selfish, denied access to society and abandoned by those they loved.
The need for approval became a weapon. The desire to belong became a leash. Reputation, employment, relationships and even family were used as instruments of control, and millions surrendered their judgement, their bodily autonomy and their moral responsibility, simply because standing against the current felt too painful.
