The Internet is what you make of it.
I constantly hear people moaning that the whole thing is nothing but AI slop now.
Meanwhile, today I discovered the ’90s Filipino ska band Put3Ska, and they KICK ASS.
The only reason I know about them is because I’m always digital crate digging. I go looking for obscurities on purpose.
If you let AI-based algorithms do all your discovering for you, then yeah, you’re probably going to get slop.
But if you actually use your brain and dig into the stuff that interests you, there’s gold all over the damn place.
