machine translated can be useful for non-english speaker but it's nowhere good enough to be called translation. I'll see it as something easier to decrypt for them.
When I come about such french translations, I immediately notice as it never seem natural and a lot of concepts get lost if not just misunderstood by the phrasing

Major example are reddit auto translations are just aweful and I can't opt-out. But they are still ligeable, just you won't get the nuance, tone and sometimes correct meaning of the original post
