"content":"Arrested by Thames Valley Police on suspicion of religiously and racially aggravated harassment for PUTTING UP St George’s and Union flags in Oxford.\n\nhe was detained for 18.5 hours for a Public Order s5 offence, of causing alarm or distress.\n\nHe said: “The world’s gone mad. Putting up a flag in my own country causes alarm? Absolute disgrace. We’ve had enough – we must march and fight on.”\n\nBail bans him from the wider Oxon area.\n\nOxon CC issued a legal notice on Monday banning flags as “intimidation and division”.
