All they need to do is re-instate an icon that starts it in that mode.
It used to be there.
The other thing that can be done is `firefox -P ${profile}`, which starts with a specific profile.
Wouldn't be difficult to have it add a launcher for specific profiles, but the basic feature has been there for the better part of 30 years.
