Showcase week is over and it was a pretty good one this year. All of the big three came out swinging with really good reveals. The best to me obviously was Summer Game's Fest. Geoff didn't fail to deliver the hype this year.

It's weird that surprisingly Sony had the weakest showcase of all the others. Never would have guessed that going into this week. New games shown off that peaked my interest:

There's some honorable mentions like The Knights of Doom reveal being memorable and games like Ace Combat 8, Gundam Rogue Orbit, Spyro & Alien Isolation 2

I feel like a good games show does set a good mood for the summer. It gives a lot of good beer cooler talk when meeting up with old friends you haven't seen in a while. Plus it's healthy to have something to look forward to throughout the year.
