Yes, I was just thinking along that line too – imagine countries using these mirrors against one another... or maybe to subdue another country that doesn't have the same capabilities.
And if they are eventually able to reflect sunlight onto specific parts of Earth, will they be able to eventually block it too?
Blocking sunlight (and then reflecting it back) could be used strategically by countries as weaponry OR for profit...
