In a world where what we see and hear is increasingly shaped by large platforms and centralised media, independent voices matter more than ever.

That’s why I really admire the work Alana is doing. Her documentary Dirty Coin challenges some of the narratives around bitcoin mining and encourages people to look at the evidence for themselves.

She’s also working on some other exciting projects which I’m really looking forward to seeing.
