Cuddles For Girls was born in 2022 in Thika, Kenya — a youth-led response to the silent struggles that vulnerable adolescent girls and young women face every single day. We didn't wait for perfect conditions. We showed up.
In schools, informal settlements, and street-connected communities, we:
• Reached hundreds of girls with SRHR education
• Distributed over 1,000 menstrual dignity kits
• Ran mentorship sessions through our G4G program
• Connected girls to youth-friendly health services
• Walked alongside girls facing psychosocial challenges
Our three pillars — Wholesome, Freedom, and Purpose — guide everything we do. We believe every girl deserves dignity, safety, and the chance to dream beyond her circumstances.
Then obstacles found us. Operations slowed. The work paused — but the mission never did. The girls we served didn't stop needing what we offer. And we didn't stop caring.
This is our moment of return. Not from scratch, but from experience. Not with naivety, but with fire.
