So you sit, isolated, sharing and consuming content mediated by consensus; excluding any other opinion.
Plato's Cave is the allegory of people chained to a wall, watching the dancing shadows presented by those that mediate what they should see. Those unaware viewers see these shadows as the entirety of their reality, and they seek to find sense in the images they are seeing, ignoring the world outside, unaware of everything outside of the cave.
In this case the anti-masker and their phones are the two parties which limit what they see on the wall and how they perceive the shadows.
It's like they are both the ones chained and the ones making the images. It's pretty wild; I have little hope for these people.
