To be clear: I'm not planning on using Unreal Engine for game development myself, that would be insanity at this stage. I'm really enjoying Godot though, and I've been slowly exploring different ways to bring more advanced 3D tools into a workflow that fits well with the Godot engine.
There's a lot of promising stuff! Weirdly, there's a lot of freely available tools and assets for animation, textures, and modeling, but really domain-specific tools just kind of don't exist.
