Prominence rules sound harmless until you realise what they can do.
The open web works best when people choose what to watch, read and trust. If governments or regulators start pushing selected broadcasters to the front of major platforms, independent creators get quietly buried.
This is not just about media. It is about who gets visibility, who gets credibility, and who gets squeezed out when the internet is redesigned around "approved" voices.
Public service media has value. But it should not come at the cost of a fair shot for independent journalists, educators, researchers and creators.
