Permissionless with a transparent blockchain where all your transactions can be seen and they can know exactly how much is in which wallet and where miners can be bought/coerced to block transactions involving any wallets the authorities want blocked? Seriously?
Forks do happen. As trad-fi gets more and more involved the rules of banksters and government control freaks take over. It has already begun. And most bitcoin-bros cheered.
