I think I have dyspraxia, a common thing with autistic people.
I think I would have to say that 90% (or maybe more) of the distress that has caused me in my life has been social in nature & only about 10% has been genuine problems caused by my physical awkwardness.
Sure, I drop stuff a lot, fumble with things, & sometimes bump into walls, but most of the time no harm happens to me.
The embarrassment of being seen to struggle with "simple" movements, however, has been constant & intense.
