Off-grid comms has always forced a choice: sub-GHz for range, or something else for throughput. 2.4 GHz LoRa is rewriting that.

GrayHatGuy is likely the first to get MeshCore running on 2.4 GHz — and he's built the bridges that stitch it back to sub-GHz backbones when you need the long-range hop across the ridge.

New post on what this means for community-scale communication networks, and why protocol bridges, channel bridges, and frequency bridges are three distinct things that need different hardware.
