I don’t want to reduce this “looksmaxxing” thing to “homophobes are actually gay”—because that’s obviously not true all of the time.
It’s more like I don’t understand why a man would seek the gaze of another man if he’s not getting intimacy in return.
I’m not being rhetorical here. I genuinely don’t know.
