"United Airlines To Cut Flights Due To Surging Jet Fuel Costs"*
I've been thinking that rising fuel costs will hit lower-fare airlines harder, which will affect people with less means more.
Airlines serving wealthier customers will simply increase flight charges some, whereas bargain airlines don't have that leeway because their customer base expects/needs lower #prices. Bargain airlines probably also face tighter margins requiring larger relative fees to offset high fuel #costs.
