Do you remember that line
“Opinions are my own and not my employer’s”
that some Twitter accounts used to put in their profiles?
Looking back, it’s just incredibly lame, very beta, NPC vibes. Straight up victim mentality. Like, what the heck has your income resource to do with what you as a person post?
People > companies. Companies are not real people. They are held accountable far less than actual humans. They call us “human resources,” but actually they are just income resources, nothing more. When people place that much value on their identity as employees, something is off on multiple levels.
