Some commenters seem not to have picked up on my main observation here: that people with some money are avoiding a far cheaper, more modern and more convenient service for environmental reasons.
One guy was like "It's just like how rich people in 1900 would be surprised to learn that rich people in 1950 would like suntans!" Hello? Where's the analogy here, exactly?
