We have only ever tried the inflatable ones. There’s talk now about getting a hard shell one 🙄😁 I found it easy to get the hang of. I grew up skateboarding and surfing. Wife took a bit more time to get comfortable but we can now both do it together without either of us feeling rushed or anxious.
