More evidence of the impact of over a decade of austerity on the plight of children (and families) in poverty; a third of family hubs have closed since 2009, with a direct impact on child poverty.

If you wanted evidence of how the political class in this country has been cutting the poor loose then this would contribute to that observation.

Of course, by cutting funds for prevention, the demand for more expensive crisis interventions have risen!
