Same with Taproot. Was promised to improve privacy and to reduce data. In reality 99% of its use is for data storage abuse and its addresses are vulnerable to quantum attacks. Kinda like Trump promised to stop all wars and never start a new one. Or like Saylor promised to never sell his Bitcoin.
