The thing about recording with or without consent & so on is that to me it really doesn't sound all that different from someone having good memory and listening/observing to reproduce observations later.
The question then rather becomes whether that person is trusted or allowed into any place that is remotely private, whether or not their good memory is technologically assisted or meatware they gene-lottery lucked into.
To a degree such things can also be trained skills, but there is a limit that is faster reached than that of adequate neuralware.
If you were relying on people having bad memory to keep you safe, then you were being awfully naive.
