i know it says no stupid questions, but i mean, the answer rly is as simple as "eventually it was going to stick". it's been 3 years by now, everyone who still wants to use twitter/x will eventually get used to calling it what it is.

also, i think a lot of people refer to twitter as "x" when they speak negatively about it, "oh thats not the twitter i remember, thats X. this is the moment walter white became X".
