Hey fellas something worth sharing. If you developed groin pain (likely due to injury) you should get not delay getting it checked out! There are so many different injuries and basically none of them heal without intervention.

Most common are hernias and tendonitis (which can become tendonopathy) so I'm told. Hernias need attention and likely surgery and some can tear without presenting a bulge. Hernias will NOT heal on their own.

Tendonopathy needs rehab somewhat quickly before the tissue deteriorates (3-5 weeks after injury when pain starts to subside), very slow and long process compared to other muscle/tendon tears apparently. The good news for this is that PT plans are super easy to find from your local rehab. Some even allow walk-ins for a consult especially for sports injuries, and they can give you an at-home rehab guide. Most of the exercises are super easy and there are tons of videos online if you know what to look for.

Other issues could be testicular and you'd really want to get on that quickly, most diagnostics would also be helpful for cancer detection too!
