Yes, but the issue here is that an AI/LLM acts far too close as many, if not most, autistics. I've even seen someone who talks like an AI and was told to their face to talk like a human. That ableist person? 1000% anti-AI. And not only that, how of us were accused of using AI when we did not? How many students were shamed in classes because some anti-AI tool told them their work was at least 60% AI?
It's showing us that many, obviously not all, anti-AI cannot differentiate between a machine and a human being, and their hatred of the technology is defining their human interaction without realising it.
There's even a new trend now: ai;dr (AI, didn't read). So far, people leaving that seems to have not shamed an autistic person … yet. It's only a matter of time that they accidentally leave ai;dr to an autistic work.
