That really sucks. Some people think they are progressive but they aren't. My experience from around the same time sent me in a very different direction.
I've always been big on voter registration. So, I agreed to be a faculty sponsor for a student group that had taken over a drive that'd been done for years in the Bronx. College kids getting their community to vote. Non-partisan, right? No political stakes. This was 2016.
