I'm not anti profit, actually, not even with pharma companies despite all the criminal charges etc. The problem is when those profiting are the ones who write or guide policy.
Medicine is always a cost-benefit, right? When it comes to informed consent, kids and their parents need to be told: this might help in this way, but also has long-term effects on bone density and likely on fertility and sexual health.
