GM #nostr!
Joining nostr has been such a different experience. In the fiat world, all the people I know are already on the major platforms. So, it's really easy to find people to connect with. Nostr is a little different. When they say #grownostr, they mean I have to grow my own nostr experience. I have to find the people that I want to engage with. More importantly, I need to create engagement and create content worth engaging with. Gone are the days of posting low-value slop to farm likes and comments. No more rage baiting to get the serotonin boost from the notification icon. On nostr, people's attention is worth something.
I have struggled to gain those connections on nostr so far. And, that is probably my own doing. Post after post; no likes, no comments. But, it is my responsibility to make things worth engaging with. So, starting today I am going to start creating the experience I want from nostr. I'm going to like, comment, and zap. I'm going to make myself known. If anyone has suggestions, I'm open for communication.
