A lot of normies have been agreeing with me lately on the possibility that we are heading for a systemic collapse. I was shocked at how many are becoming apolitical and will not be voting at the next election. People are becoming disenchanted with the state of the country. What happens if people lose faith completely? What happens if people stop paying their taxes? I wonder about this a lot and I don’t think the timing of these tariffs is a coincidence. If you can’t tax people effectively at the point of sale, then it makes sense to tax them at the harbor. Don’t have to chase them around with audits and bank freezes.
