To be fair, the World Cup is a REALLy big deal for some people. Bigger than Americans feel about the Super Bowl. I can understand it, I'm a big soccer fan.
That being said, they really should give this one a pass. It's just not worth it, not now, not this country. It's not worth the risk at all. Like life threatening risk.
I have world cup games happening in my own city, and I've been looking forward to it for years now. But... I am not going. And that sucks.
