Entire world depending on a single organization to talk to each other is not very sustainable in the long term. Prav is one specific choice in #XMPP options - there are other apps and services using same protocol which you can use - and still talk to prav users. For example Monocles Chat don't have these two anti features, but adds a bit more steps to join - choose a server, username and password. So you can decide which of thoese trade offs suits better for you.
