We would have voted the same, except question 1, I would have said, yes, so that low-income families had childcare.
That said, I feel such questions are unfair to voters. Because normally government has no problem deciding how to spend tax payer money, and raise taxes to achieve their goals, except when it may help people, then they drop that in the voters hands.
