Map and territory issues - when you confuse the fact that we have goals in our everyday for a final goal for us to accomplish.

You can optimize your route to the store, it can even be fun to make that path shorter each time you try, but when you start assuming that life becomes one single journey to optimize through, you miss the plot and fail to appreciate the fact that there are paths at all. Each path has something to appreciate, even if you can't immediately understand its value, or why you've come across it in the first place.
