Emeritus Prof Christopher May on Nostr: The two key problems for the Labour Party's stumbling policy of 'resetting' relations ...
The two key problems for the Labour Party's stumbling policy of 'resetting' relations with the EU are:
it still wants to cherry-pick areas of 'reset' to the UK's advantage & seeks to enter arrangements without fully contributing;
the EU is increasingly reticent about any detailed rapprochement as it no longer expects Labour to survive the next election in power & assumes if ReformUK Ltd is anywhere near Govt. once again the UK's relations with the EU will be degraded.
