One of my beta readers thinks I have invented a new romance trope, but I can assure you I did not. In my book, a partner clips the protagonist toenails with such care and tenderness that it is an act of love and non-sexual intimacy. She wants to call it body care but i’m pretty sure there’s an official, industry standard, name for this existing trope. Does anyone know what this is? I can assure you I did not invent this trope. #Romance #RomanceLandia
