BSC does not require mining because it uses the PoSA (Proof of Staked Authority) consensus mechanism instead of PoW (Proof of Work).
Simply put:
BNB was already created through an initial issuance process. Unlike Bitcoin, which relies on miners continuously performing computations to generate new block rewards, BSC relies on validator nodes. Validators stake BNB to obtain the right to produce blocks and maintain network operations.
BNB uses a pre-mint model, meaning the total supply was determined at the time of creation.
