I've found my way to the bottom of the pit of despair. I can't even feed my kids. I got laid off at the worst possible moment, when our funds were completely depleted paying off the property taxes we have been struggling to catch up on for 2 years and rescuing our car from repossession. My former boss owes me $5,000 in back pay and isn't responding to my emails. I've been fighting back tears all day. My wife and daughters are spending the night elsewhere because we can't afford gas for the drive to school. I've been eating expired things and random cans of food. I just want something to go right, even once. I just want to be treated like a human being. I fucking hate this world we have created, full of needless suffering so a select few can have yachts and jets.
