Agreed it’s not super normie friendly but it’s still new but super powerful if you see the benefits of it. It’s like running a lightning node but with training wheels.
The needing a channel to be able to use it is just how the lightning network works.
Also Alby was doing all of this for us for free for years.
I’m running AlbyHub on my own lightning node and being able to use my own node with 2.0 apps is what I always wanted.
