for me, the advertising that actually works is basically the one that informs me that something exists and provides more detailed(correct!) info about the item WITHOUT using misleading/empty/pompous language, WITHOUT trying to talk bad things about competitors and WITHOUT excessive repetition. Like, I might be interested in your product after first couple of encounters with its info-advertising and may be even considering to try it, but when it’s shouting at me hundred times from every corner - I would definitely reject any hint of the very idea to try it. If you spend half or more of your ads time telling me how others are bad and you are better - I don’t want to check if you really are, I don’t want to deal with the one telling that others are bad(even if they actually are). If you throw in one lie I spot - no matter how good everything else is, I am not willing to check the rest, I just don’t trust your product.
