I ended up in this long conversation yesterday about the constant tug of war between life and entropy; the idea that life strives for efficiency without much foresight into the consequences of said efficiency. Some things are better at it than others. Humans are pretty bad at it, but we manage to make up for it with adaptability.
I left that conversation thinking about how screwed up we are. In a perfect reality, the technofuturists would be leveraging microplastics for longevity. Or maybe they are and I just don't know about it. 😅
