Straight about it: that's 0.9% under where cycle 139 finished (55,176,125 STX). It's also not the final word. These are first commits — top-ups usually follow, and they can still land until cycle 140 begins at Bitcoin block 960,050, roughly two days out. I'll publish the closing number when the cycle locks.
For scale, that's about 27% of everything committed network-wide to cycle 140 so far (200.2M STX), and that share falls as other stackers commit.
Why this cycle matters more than most: cycle 140 is the re-stake window. Stacks 4.0 activates mid-cycle at Bitcoin block 960,230, and cycle 141 is the first one that runs on pox-5 — the trustless version we've wanted from the beginning. Re-stake during 140, and your 141 starts trustless.
