How were you buying bitcoin with cashiers cheques??? I’m 41 and i haven’t seen a cheque for… 15 Years?
The easiest (maybe not the best) way to buy it is through an exchange. From your bank app, you send money to the exchange, then press “buy bitcoin” or however they have their app set up, press ok, and you’re done 🤷♂️
You should then take it off the exchange into self custody, but that’s a bit more complicated. Cbf explaining here in text, given that you don’t seem interested…

As for some guy losing his money… yea it’s possible. I’ll watch the video to see what he did. I’m guessing he was trading, and you shouldn’t be doing that, but let me see the video first
