@smallsco's guess that this machine was "grandma got taken by a salesman" turned out to be right on the money
the users were primarily kids in their late teens into weed, hunting, dirty jokes and late 90s alternarock. almost certainly a family with 15 year olds, parents in their mid-30s, and a grandma/grandpa in their 50s
not a single 3D game found to take advantage of that Voodoo 3, except Deer Hunter which used a software renderer 😭
aside from photo folders of the family's back 40 acres of broken down cars in the bush (of which there were dozens), LimeWire, and every anti-spyware software you can think of, the only games i found were a folder of great shareware classics like Xargon, Jill of the Jungle, and Castle of the Winds 👏
the most fascinating part was launching MSIE and seeing it bring up a local ISP's dialup number using the win98 DUN interface, pre-populated with their login info.
