Whilst there is probably some truth to what you say, the fact that they are saying "prevent/cure" rather than "ease your symptoms for life" gives me hope that this is two sides fighting against each other than just one side picking both financialisaton routes. The hope that Kennedy etc. are fighting for the greater good keeps others fighting in the same conflict. Sometimes hope is all you can really hope for.
